Third Nature Therapy realized that their site felt too much like a template, and no longer reflected how their practice and personality had evolved over time.
To address this, we created an updated brand identity and website that was inspired by naturally-occurring Fibonacci sequences, which—according to Polyvagal Theory—help regulate the nervous system. By taking the design process in this new direction, we told their story in a new, purposeful way that felt totally unique to them and their brand.
The Work
The updated logo was based on the three principles of Katonah Yoga, the philosophy that guides Third Nature as they support clients in their evolution of self.
First Nature: What you were born into—your gifts.
Second Nature: All that you learn— how to live a full life with the gifts of that inheritance.
Third Nature: How you choose to live your life, employing your unique gifts to your own advantage.
The two outer circles represent the intersection of the First and Second Natures, while the inner shape represents the Third Nature—the resulting transformation that ignites a more vital self.
